YELBA'S  LATIN  FIRE

<BGSOUND SRC="_RefFiles/clip1 Yelba.mp3" loop=FALSE>

Yelba, one of 5 children of a Nicaraguan singer-musician father, performed with the family group on television regularly in her native country. The gifted family, by request, performed @ Roberto Clemente’s Memorial Service in Pittsburgh, Pa. in 1972.
Yelba has traveled and performed in many countries, including with an all-girl band in Peru for 3 years. Her Latin background
is fused with Afro-rhythms, mixed with her love for jazz, country
and rock. Yelba’s talent is so varied: steamy salsa, merengue,
cumbia, and she sings with the voice of an angel.
She is no ordinary citizen, having graduated from Texas A & M
Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science Degree, then on to UT
Austin, with an MBA in Finance, with honors as a Sord Scholar.
Yelba plays guitar & mandolin, and with her band, Yelba’s Latin
Fire is truly an outstanding band in every sense of the word.
