VERSECITY  BAND

Houston power pop-rock band Versecity appeared at the Hard Rock Café
at 502 Texas Avenue on Thursday, June 4, 2006. The band bested several
local band acts during the Battle of the Bands held at the Café in April.
Now, Versecity is vying against four other regional bands for a shot at a
gig in London town. There, they could jam with Bruce Springsteen and
Dave Matthews.

Versecity has an aggressively modern sound, propelled by front man,
Micah Sharai Walker’s vocals. Oh, Micah also has cover-boy charm.
Other band members are: Marcus Edwards III and Nelson Baradat on
guitars, Daniel Rascoe on drums, Jared Kindel on bass.

The name Versecity (Vur-si-tee) is a derivative of three words: university,
diversity and versatility. The band started on campus at the University of
Houston, and the members are a mixed group: white, black, Latino, Jewish.
different backgrounds in music, but TNT talent!

We wish Versecity Band the Best of Luck now and in the future. Have fun
in London Town !
