Thunderado Band is true to its name: the boys make a powerful
racquet. The band is fronted by Houston natives; Hunter Perrin,
A guitar whiz who also plays in John Fogerty’s band; and bassist
singer, Paul Beebe. They will be joined by Kenny Aronoff, a
sledgehammer of a drummer. Kenny is probably the best stick-
man in rock. The band performed at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18,
2009 at the Discovery Green Park, 1500 McKinney, in Houston,
Texas. The park is located across the street from George R. Brown
Convention Center.

The band was formed in 2005 by Hunter Perrin and Paul Beebe,
who are childhood friends. Hunter grew up listening to outlaw
country music and ZZ Top. Paul was also from a musical family.
Although they come from different musical backgrounds, they
shared a common love of juke joint rock; western swing and
rock-a-billy; along with Texas-Czech dancehall music.
