Jake Hooker & The Outsiders Band is a traditional country music
honky-tonk band. Jake was born listening to his father’s west
Texas country band, and formed his own band at age 14. He
studied music & theory at South Plains College in Levelland, Tx.
He moved to the Ft. Worth area and signed with Southland Records
in 1998. His love and passion for traditional country music makes
him a favorite wherever he goes.
Jake was strongly influenced by the sounds of popular country music
artists such as Ray Price, Johnny Bush, Faron Young, Darrell McCall,
Curtis Potter and Leon Rausch. He is a talented vocalist and more.
His hobbies include learning the steel guitar and playing the drums.
Jake Hooker & The Outsiders Band are talented, put on a great show,
