THE  FAB5  BAND
<BGSOUND SRC="_RefFiles/clip1 FAB5 BAND.mp3" loop=FALSE>

The Fab 5 Band was formed in Houston by Bill Staats and
Dwaine Abraham in 1990. They had a desire to re-create the
spirit and enthusiasm of the British invasion. The Fab 5
with its timeless tunes, 60’s period costumes, authentic sounds,
style and humor; packaged in tight production based performances
have made the band a leader in the fun-oldies tribute market.

Along the way, The Fab 5 Band has had the good fortune to
share the stage with such great acts as The Beach Boys, Peter Noone
and Hermans Hermits, The Turtles, The Temptations, Three Dog Night,
Tommy James & The Shondells, Chubby Checker, Gary Lewis and
The Playboys, Little Richard, Paul Revere and The Raiders and many
more.

The Fab 5 Band considers it a pleasure to bring to life some of the
very best music for your festival concert, private corporate function,
re-union, nightclub engagement or any special event to rekindle those
special memories. Audiences of all ages have twisted, shimmied, and
shaked to the music of The Fab 5 for over 15 years, and they look
forward to seeing you at the next shindig. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah !

The Fab 5 Band members currently include: Joe Baiardi, Rod Robert,
(Ringo), The Mysterious Dr. C (Chuck Essick), James Reese, and
Randy Wall. They can be seen and heard at the Woodlands Northshore Park Watermelon Festival on Sunday, August 2, 2009, 1 p.m.-9 p.m. FREE admission. The festival is a benefit for Autism.
